We believe that access to space is a social justice issue—especially in the city. As rents rise and gentrification drives up costs, we are committed to providing space for people to gather, learn, celebrate, work, and worship. Our hope is that as a community, paying our fair share, according to what each group is able to contribute, we can continue to open our spaces to serve the creative and ethical work going on here in Astoria.

SPACE
Our guiding principles for space use are simple:
-
That everyone using the space is respectful of the space and everyone in it
-
That no one is harmed spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, or physically by any activity in the space.
